English Language Institute

Welcome! The English Language Institute (ELI) offers academic and cultural programming for students at the University of Central Missouri. It is our goal to provide English language learners the skills they need to be successful in the university, their careers, or in specialized language programs.

The ELI is housed together with the Center for Global Education and the Study Abroad Program.

Our premier for credit program, the Intensive English Program (IEP), is CEA-accredited. The IEP offers nine levels, ranging from beginning to advanced. Please contact the English Language Institute at 660-543-8131 or iep@ucmo.edu. We look forward to hearing from you.
