Greater KC Writing Project

Established in 1983, the Greater Kansas City Writing Project (GKCWP) is one of nearly 200 university-based National Writing Project sites. We are a Pre-K - College community of educators and lifelong learners working in conjunction with the University of Central Missouri. We seek to improve the teaching of writing and improve learning in our schools. We offer teaching and writing classes for teachers and young people in Kansas City and the surrounding area.
