Print As Playground: Exploring Multiples

This week-long course offers participants the opportunity to create multi-color, multi-layer original prints through the exploration of various printmaking techniques and mark making strategies. Through hands-on demonstrations led by the instructor, participants will be given a broad knowledge base from which to approach the creation of imagery that is more improvisational and intuitively directed. With this in mind, participants are encouraged to approach their own personal projects with a spirit of playfulness, curiosity and collaboration.  Techniques including screenprinting, block printing, letterpress printing and photo transfers will be demonstrated as potential catalysts for artistic expression and exploration.

All levels of experience are welcome.

Option to take Continuing Education cred ($57/credit) OR Graduate Credit $138/hour up to three hours)  Contact:  workforce@ucmo.edu if you would like the graduate credits.
