Aviation English Certificate Program (Bundle)   

This two-part course bundle provides a $100 discount when taken together. This certificate consists of Aviation English 1 and Aviation English 2.

Aviation English 1 will introduce non-native English speaking aviators to voice-only communication in plain English for safety during flight instruction, recreation, or commercial application.

Aviation English 2 will build greater speaking and listening skills for voice-only communication in plain English for the non-native English speaking aviators.

Students must complete Aviation English 1 before entering into Aviation English 2. Aviation English 1 and Aviation English 2 cannot be taken concurrently.

The start date for Aviation English 2 is flexible and adjustments can be made with the student and instructor.

The program consists of:

  • one 6-week course to introduce students to voice-only communication in plain English for safety during flight instruction, recreation, or commercial application. Students will build speaking and listening skills within the context of aviation topics (e.g., pre-flight checks and ground movements). 

  • one 6-week course to build greater speaking and listening skills for voice-only communication in plain English. Students will engage in simulated voice-only communication within the context of aviation topics (e.g., cruising and en route events).

App: The English Pronunciation Tutor Mobile APP (Language Arts Press)

Required Technology: Laptop or PC, Webcam, Reliable Internet Access, Android/iOS device with voice recording/uploading capabilities, and a headset
Fee: $2,500.00
Class dates and times will be arranged between student and instructor. This course is delivered entirely online. This bundle covers Aviation English 1 and 2. Starting January 22 and ending November 15.
